The (almost) Spring Chiropractic Newsletter
August 2013
Hi!
The almost spring (wishful thinking) newsletter is action packed! I hope everyone has been well and has been successful in fending off the winter bugs.
Research
A new study coming from Berkley University and the University Medical Centre Hamburg Germany, has found that Vitamin D deficiency levels can not only decrease bone density but the quality and ageing process of the bone too.
Pelvic Floor & Spinal Health
The importance of the pelvic floor is commonly misunderstood. Hopefully this article can help explain its function and importance with regard to spinal health.
Recipes
When craving a sweet breakfast Pumpkin Pancakes provide a healthier alternative and are absolutely delicious. This site has some other great recipes too. I have also tried the cashew cauliflower soup which was surprisingly yum!
In & Around Petersham
Lazy Bones Lounge in Marrickville recently opened its doors. I am yet to go but a trusty source beat me to it and told me it offers a really fun night out of jazz music, good drinks and food.
Ragamuffin in Leichhardt is a really cute steamed muffin cafe with excellent coffee. The muffins are steamed and then baked and there are always new and interesting flavours.
Dr. Graeme Massager
The Dr. Graeme Massagers flew off the shelf in record time! I have only 1 left...I am happy to place another order if there is still interest. Additionally, I have 1 latex pillow available and am happy to order in more.
Facebook
Please follow us on facebook! We're super fun!
As mentioned in the previous emails, I would love to hear your feedback on what information you would like to know more about or if you have any healthy (or not so healthy) recipes to share.
Lastly, I am always happy to get involved with local community organisations, schools and events. If you have any fundraisers, sporting events or school fetes coming up, feel free to leave some flyers/posters/raffle boxes with me. In addition, I am happy to donate vouchers as prizes to assist local organisations and schools.
Have a great week and a great last month of winter!!
